Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, broadcasting to South Africa, said that almost the whole Dutch Navy was saved and working for the Allies. Able-bodied Dutchmen in England had been called up for training in the Netherlands Legion. The Dutch Government was also forming a legion in Canada, for which training was already well advanced.
