MANAWATU SHOW
ANOTHER WET DAY. , FURTHER CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N„ November 7., Though the weather today was again anything but conducive to large attendances, the Manawatu and West Coast Agricultural and Pastoral Association's commodious grounds and halls were again filled with thousands of visitors from far and near for the second and concluding day of the association’s fifty-fifth spring show. The weather, fine in the morning, changed for the worse in the afternoon, but during the middle of the afternoon it cleared. However, more heavy rain fell late in the afternoon, and the show’s patrons had to select their opportunity to venture out into the open, where the grand parade and a series of interesting ring events provided a variety in the entertainment. The weather was the worst for years.
