SPORTS DAY
AT WAIRARAPA COLLEGE EVENTS KEENLY CONTESTED. SEVERAL RECORDS BROKEN. The annual athletic sports day is being held at the Wairarapa College in fine but windy weather today. Under the capable guidance of the officials a lengthy programme is being carried out with the maximum of efficiency. Keen interest is being taken in the proceedings and there is a large attendance of the public. All the events have been keenly contested and some thrilling finishes have been witnessed. Several records have been broken in both the boys’ and girls’ events, and in many cases existing records have been equalled.
