LADIES’ GUILD (“Times-Age” Special.) The Pihautea-Kahutara Guild held a "bring and buy afternoon” in the Kahutara Hall on Tuesday. Mrs C. Bidwill presided, and there was a large attendance. The funds are to go to the Khandallah Babies’ Home. A competition arranged by Mrs D. C. Collins was won by Mrs J. A. Juno. The hostesses were Mesdames Pope and Grant. Afternoon tea was provided. , SCHOOL ASSOCIATION EUCHRE PARTY. There was a very good attendance at the Home and School Association’s euchre party held on Tuesday night. The winners were: Mesdames Charles and Neilson (equal), Mellish and Elder. Personal. Mrs A. C. Pearce is on a visit to her daughter, Mrs Marshall, of Taihape.
