GOLF
MAHUNGA CLUB. SEASON TO CLOSE ON SATURDAY. Members of kindred clubs are invited to the official closing of the season on Saturday by the Mahunga Golf Club, when the trophies won during the past season will be presented by the club president, Mr G. H. Perry. A mixed fourball competition will be played over 9 holes and partners will be arranged at the links. Play will commence from 1 p.m. The course is at its best at present and it is the intention of the committee to keep the fairways and greens in order for sum-, mer play.
