PATROLS ACTIVE
IN EGYPT AND THE SUDAN. ENEMY PARTIES DRIVEN IN. No major activity is reported in Egypt, a 8.8. C. broadcast states. The Italians are still moving up supplies to their advanced bases. On Tuesday, enemy patrols south-east of Sidi Barrani were engaged successfully by British artillery and forced to withdraw. In the Sudan British patrols are active. An enemy party in the Kassala area was forced to withdraw without returning the British fire.
