GUNMEN IN SHANGHAI
SECOND JAPANESE OFFICER SHOT. (Uy Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Dav. 1 p.m.) - SHANGHAI. November 5. Another Japanese office:-, Lieutenant Hisao Nakamura, was shot and severely wounded this evening in Hongkew, the Japanese-occupied sector of the International Settlement, by a party of Chinese gunmen. Japanese gendarmes cordoned the area and commenced a search for the assassins. This is the second attack on uniformed Japanese officers in Hongkew. Major Yoshio Isobe was shot and killed last month.
