PAHIATUA SALE. FAT EWE VALUES DECLINE. I ——• I The Associated Auctioneers report | on their Pahiatua sale yesterday as follows: —A moderate yarding of sheep, dairy stock and pigs were submitted to a good attendance of buyers. The sheep market generally was good. Fat ewes were on a par with recent outside markets, depreciating quite four shillings per head. Quotations: Medium store 4-th. wethers, 19s 4d; fat and forward 4-th. wethers, from 23s to 24s 7d; 2-th. wethers (good), 22s 6d; b.f. wether hoggets, 21s 3d; w.f. wether hoggets, 23s lOd to 21s 6d; fat ewes, 14s Id to 15s 6d; maiden ewes (fat), 22s to 24s 6d. Dairy heifers, springing, £9 5s to £8 7s 6d; Jersey cows, ex-dairy, £3 7s. Weaner pigs, 28s 6d, 27s to 26s 6d.
