GOLF SEASON PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES. (“Times-Age" Special.) The official closing of the Eketahuna Golf Club was held on Saturday afternoon. A mixed four ball competition was played, the winners being Miss P. O'Regan and Mr B. Bradley, who finished 3 up. Before presenting the cups and trophies won during the season Mr R. Dickson addressed the members and thanked them for their co-operation during the year. The following is the list of cup and trophy winners:— Ladies’ senior championship, Miss N. Greathead. Ladies' junior championship. Miss A. Simmers. . Herbert Cup. Miss W. Dickson. Seniors Southey Cup, Miss N. Greathead. Juniors Southey Cup, Mrs W. Simpson. L.G.U. silver medal, Miss J. Angas. L.G.U. bronze medal, Miss E. Simmers. Eclectic competition, Miss J. Angas. Wednesday stableford competition (Mrs Dickson’s trophy), Miss E. Simmers. Wednesday medal competition (Miss Greathead’s trophy.), Mrs W. Simpson. Men's senior championship. Mr P. Page. Men’s junior championship. Mr F. Mcßride. White cup, Mr R. Dickson. Southey cup, Mr B. Anderson.
