EIGHTY-SEVEN PLANES
LOST BY GERMANS OVER BRITAIN IN WEEK TO SATURDAY LAST. AGAINST 27 BRITISH MACHINES AND 11 PILOTS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.40 a.m). RUGBY, November 4. It is confirmed that during the week ended at midnight on Saturday last, German aircraft losses in battles over Britain totalled 87, including at least 13 shot down during the hours of darkness. The British losses during the same period were 27 aircraft and 11 pilots.
