FRACTURED SPINE
STEVEDORE AWARDED - DAMAGES. ACCIDENT IN UNLOADING CHEESE. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.35 a.m.) LONDON, November 1. The High Court has awarded £lOOO to a stevedore claiming damages for negligence from the New Zealand Shipping Company. Cheese was being unloaded from the Remuera when a crate fell from a net and fractured plaintiffs spine.
