RUGBY, October 31. ‘ The King has awarded the silver medal for gallantry and humanity to Jose Otero Caamano and Juan Mascato Panan, members of the crew of the Spanish fishing vessel Meco, who showed the greatest disregard for their personal safety in rescuing survivors from the oil tanker Telema, which had been attacked and set on fire by an enemy submarine near the the Spanish coast last May.
