Mrs C. Blake, of Masterton. has been on a visit to her mother, Mrs F. Munro. Apiti.
Mr. and Mrs. Saxton, Wellington, have been staying at the Hotel Midland, Masterton. Miss Elizabeth Collins. Featherston, is visiting Miss Jane Deans. Darfield, Canterbury.
Mrs. Besley and Mrs. Hislop, New Plymouth, were recent guests at the Hotel Midland, Masterton. .Mr and Mrs J. H. Handyside, of Masterton, have been the guests of Mr and Mrs J. D. Common, Tomoana Road, Hastings. Mrs T. Clarke and Mrs I. Morris were the guests at the weekend of Mr and Mrs Lambourn, Petone, for the Dambourn —Holmes wedding. A very enjoyable time was spent last evening at the residence of Mr and Mrs F. Keen, Cole Street, Masterton, the occasion being the coming of age of Miss H. Knowles, who was the recipient of many useful gifts.
