COSY THEATRE
“MUTINY OF THE BOUNTY.” . Tonight marks the revival of this mighty picture, one of the greatest that the screen has ever known. All recall the British naval episode of the mutiny on one of his Majesty’s ships, “The Bounty,” against the tryannical Captain Bligh, a mutiny which resulted in the Pitcairn Islanders we know today. Bligh himself magnificently portrayed- by the mighty Charles Laughton, is a figure much discussed in history. A man of strong mettle, with the highest courage, it is difficult to know whether to commend or condemn him. Clark Gable is at his best and with Franchot Tone, head a cast of thousands. Produced on a magnificent scale, with powerful realism, it is further distinguished by uncomparable acting from the whole cast. The management state that no one should miss it as it stands out as one of the mightiest productions of all time.
