Average entries have been received for the Bideford Golf Club’s tourney, which started on Saturday and is concluding today when' the finals are being played. The links are in good order. Fall.oon beat E. Wrigley. Competitions resulted: — Medal round: J. Thornton 65. First bogey: J. Thornton, 1 up. Stableford: W. E. Bell (of Calcutta, India), 35 points. RIVERSIDE LABOUR WEEKEND TOURNEY Golfers taking part in the Riverside Club’s tournament had to face heavy rain this morning to bring the tourney which started on Saturday to a conclusion. Results are: — Championship: First round: Wakeland beat Anderson, Poole beat Snowsill, Candy beat Wearne, Ward beat Weipehana. Second round: Wakeland beat Poole, Candy beat Ward. Final: Candy beat Wakeland. First flight: First round, Shearer beat Rolf, Knox beat Gilliland, Dwyer beat Dove, Hatch beat Clarkson. Second round, Knox beat Shearer, Dwyer beat Hatch. Final: Dwyer beat Knox. Second flight: Second round: Weipehana beat Wearne: Dove beat Anderson; Rolf beat Clarkson; Snowsill beat Gilliland. Semi-finals: Weipehana beat Dove: Rolf beat Snowsill by default.
