ST. MORITZ SKATERS
AT CARTERTON SHOW. Grace and beauty, perfect poise, balance, and control of the body are all combined in the many acts performed by the four St. Moritz Skaters, amongst whom are Edmund Corthesy and Vera Parancini. two of the world’s greatest skate artists. They can be seen at the Carterton Show in an entirely new act. They are assisted by the brilliant Swiss skaterinas Elsa and Dolores, whoso clever combination work adds greatly to their presentation. Intriguing to watch and a delight to the eye, these four clever skaters are said to defy death every minute of their performance. for a slight misjudgment would spell disaster. It must be understood that a skating exhibition of such brilliant nature cannot be continuous, as a well-earned rest is needed by the skaters between each performance. Such being the case. Mr Frank de Lyall, the director of the tour, announces that the performances are being given half-hourly, commencing each day at 11 a.m.
