DUKE OF GLOUCESTER
ACTIVITIES AS STAFF OFFICER. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, October 26. As chief liaison officer on the staff of Sir Alan Brooke, Commander-in-Chief of the Home Forces, the Duke of Gloucester is kept busy and his duties have taken him to all parts of Britain. He spent last week on a visit to the Scottish Command. Most of the Duke's work is connected with army matters and has. therefore. been hidden from the general public. During his inspections, however. he has visited and talked with Dominion troops and always displayed his keenness for soldiering. The Duchess of Gloucester has done a considerable amount of work as a commandant in the W.A.A.F,
