Assistant-Sec-retary of the New Zealand Employers' Federation for the past seventeen years, has been appointed Secretary. He was employers' representative with the New Zealand delegation to the 1.L.0. conference at Geneva in 1938 and visited many countries to study at first hand industrial conditions. Before ho joined the federation, he held many responsible Government positions.
