Y.M.C.A.

MOTHERS AND DAUGHTERS TEA. What is always looked upon as a Special feature in connection with the Y.M.C.A. is the annual tea for mothers and daughters sponsored by the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the institution, and to be held on Tuesday evening next in the Association’s hall, commencing at 5.30 o’clock. The programme to be submitted after the tea will be of an entertaining character, including musical and elocutionary items. The customary toasts will be honoured, while Mrs Hessel Troughton, a visitor to Masterton, who has lived for some years in Central Japan, will address the gathering. All mothers and daughters are welcome and tickets at the cost of Is each may be obtained at the secretary’s office.
