ITALIAN SUBMARINES IN RED SEA HALF OF THEM SUNK OR CAPTURED. WORK OF THE ROYAL NAVY. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day. 10.45 a.m.) LONDON. October 25. It is authoritatively believed that the Royal Navy has destroyed or captured half the Italian submarines based in ports in the Red Sea, through which any ships supplying the British forces in the Middle East from the east would pass. Italy has been given little chance of augmenting her naval forces eastwards of Suez.
