A WOMAN ARRESTED. REMANDED ON ARSON CHARGE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) i NELSON, October 24. ( . An arrest has been made in connect./* tion with the fires which occurred in the' hotel at Nelson where the Gover-nor-General was staying last Monday night. A woman, aged 28, was charged in the Magistrate’s Court this morning with arson. . The accused, whose name was suppressed meanwhile, was not represented by counsel. She was remanded till Octobei - 31. The police objected to bail as further charges are pending.
