CROQUET
PARK CLUB OPENS SEASON. At the- Masterton Park Croquet Club's opening day Mrs T. Jordan (Mayoress) ran the first ball of the season through the hoop. In spite of threatening weather, visitors and members spent a pleasant afternoon playing competitions the winners being: Angles, Mrs Weller; Roquet'to stick Mrs Finlayson; Roquet to corner, Mrs Scrivener; Feather and Fan. Mrs Taylor; Ladder, Mrs Jasper.
