AIR FORCE RELATIONS

MEETING OF MASTERTON COMMITTEE. PARCELS FOR THE TROOPS. At the monthly meeting of the Air Force Relations Committee the following members were present: Mesdames Lord (in the chair), Betts. Gill, Nathan. L. Gray. Sellar. The committee packed 210 tins of food, including shortbread, barley sugar, butterscotch, etc., and particularly thank those who so generously sent large fruit cakes, and Christmas cakes, which will arrive in time for Christmas. The cold weather already experienced in England makes it very necessary to keep up supplies, which not only supplement the food allowance, but bring a message of good cheer to many airmen who are sick or wounded, or prisoners of war. Thirty-four pairs of the under gauntlet gloves were packed, also 17 pullovers, 7 pairs mittens, 3 balaclavas, and 1 pair socks. The committee wrote to thank the following helpers, and denors of tinned food: —Mesdames W. Batty, Bird. T. Brown, Brunton, R. Birch, C. J. Bennett, Ralph Bunny, A. W. Buchanan, W. Bunny, R. F. Beetham. W. Booth. J. A. Betts, T. Beetham, H. Beetham. R. Cunningham, J. Caselberg, Cross, P. Fagan, S. L. P. Free, L. Gray, S. Gill, Hornabrook, Hutchins, A. Hosking, Irwin. V.
