LIFE-JACKET LIGHTS. SUPPLY TO MERCHANT SHIPS. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, October 22. The Minister of Shipping, Mr. Cross, in the House of Commons, said lifejacket lights had been supplied to the crews of all merchant ships owned or managed by the Ministry of Shipping. He added that the question of making such lights obligatory for all merchant crews would depend upon the experience as to the utility of those issued by the Ministry.
