CENSUS OF JAPANESE OVERSEAS. PROPERTY AND QUALIFICATIONS. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) NEW YORK, October 22. The Washington correspondent of the “New York Times” says that the Japanese Government is making a census of al] Japanese subjects in the United States. Hawaii, Canada and leading .South American countries, to be completed on November 20. It is designed to determine those required to serve in the armed forces of Japan in 1941, and to discover the property holdings of Japanese, also their professional and educational qualifications.
