CROP MUCH REDUCED BY DROUGHT. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copy right I SYDNEY. October 21. So severe has been the drought in New South Wales that this year’s wheat harvest will show a falling off in value of £5,000,000. This statement was made today by the Under-Secre-tary for Agriculture, Mr R. Noble, who further explained that the wheat crops in the other’ States were also seriously affected by the prolonged dry spell.
