MR EDEN’S TOUR

VISIT TO TRANSJORDAN EMIR INSPECTION OF PALESTINE TROOPS. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, October 21. The Secretary of State for War, Mr Anthony Eden, yesterday completed another stage of his tour of British forces in the Middle East with an inspection of Palestine troops. He was accompanied by Sir Archibald Wavell, British Commander-in-Chief in the Middle East. Mr Eden was also received by the Emir Abdullah of Transjordan. A detachment of the Arab Legion formed the guard of honour. Later Mr Eden inspected Arab desert patrols and a unit of the frontier forces.
