PETROL FOR JAPAN
FROM NETHERLANDS EAST INDIES. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) NEW YORK, October 18. The ‘New York Times” learns from petroleum interests that arrangements are virtually concluded whereby approximately 40 per cent of Japan's petroleum requirements in the next six months will be obtainable from the Netherlands East Indies. It is believed that the negotiations have proceeded with the knowledge of the British and American Governments.
No aviation petrol is included
