FEATHERSTON
SOCIAL AND' DANCE GATHERING AT PAHAUTEA. ("Times-Age” Special.) There was a good attendance at the Pahautea Hall last night when a social and dance was held by the local branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union in aid of the funds of the branch. Mrs Feast, Mrs Sadler, Mrs Farquhar. Mrs Connell and Miss Stansell gave items and the gathering was a most enjoyable one. SCHOOL ASSOCIATION EUCHRE PARTY. The Home and School Association held a euchre parly on Tuesday night, there being a good attendance. The prizes were won by Mrs Charles and Mrs Julian. Personal items. Mrs A. C. Bellamore, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs Juno. Miss June Nickolasen, who is suffering from pneumonia, is reported to be making good progress towards recovery.
