BURMA ROAD
♦ REOPENING CEREMONY. TWO THOUSAND LORRIES BEING. PREPARED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day. 12.15 p.m.) LASHIO (Burma), October 16. Chinese technicians are preparing approximately two thousand American lorries for the reopening of the Burma Road on Friday. There will a simple ceremony, in which Chinese and British will participate.
