CANADA’S ARMY
WORKSHOP LORRIES PROVIDED. OTTAWA. Canada is equipping each of her army divisions in the field with two motor transport lorries outfitted as efficiently and completely as a modern city garage. Canada is credited with being the first army to adapt such units to regular Army divisions. Each workshop lorry is equipped with its own electrical plant, to operate electric grinders, drills, refacers, lathes, brake servicing equipment and other tools. Lubrication, battery service and overhauling facilities, including the boring of cylinders, the lilting of pistons, valve grinding and welding are provided in this modern garage on wheels. All tools required have been specially designed with a view to portability and are part of each lorry unit.
