Citizens of a foreign country, desiring to enlist with the Canadian forces and particularly the Royal Canadian Air Force, shall not be required to take the Oath of Allegiance under an Order-in-Council recently passed “if, by so doing, that person would, under the laws of the country in question, forfeit his citizenship therein.” The taking of the Oath of Allegiance will, however, be required in every case where the same does not result in a forfeiture of citizenship.
