DRUNKEN MOTORIST
STOCK BUYER FINED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N„ October 15. Charged with having been intoxicated while in charge of a car in Palmerston North. Henry Archibald Effingham. stock-buyer, Dannevirke, appeared in the Magistrates' Court, Palmerston North. Mr Lawry, S.M., fined him £25, cancelled his driving licence and forbade him to take out another for 12 months.
