(By Telegraph—Press Association-—Copyright) MELBOURNE, October 14. Mr W. J. Smith, owner of Beau Fere, has received a cable from an American studmaster asking him to put a price on the horse. Failing a sale, Mr Smith was asked to consider sending Beau Fere to America to be mated with several selected mares. The offers are not likely to be accepted.
