Asserting that Dakar had been in German hands since early in July, the crew of the Polish freighter Rozewie told how they escaped across the minefields on July 5, when a German mission arrived by plane. The ship has since traded in South American waters. EXPERIMENTAL CORPS GERMANS GAINING EXPERIENCE UNDER GRAZIANI. (Received This Day, 10.45 a.m.) BERLIN, October 14. German shock troops serving in Africa, attached to Marshal Graziani's forces, are believed to be an experimental corps. The object is to gain experience in operating in the tropics.
