Mrs Coates and Miss Coates, Wellington, are staying at the Hotel Midland, Masterton.
Mrs B. Schultz, of Wellington, has been a weekend guest of Mrs P. W. Dixon, Renall Street, Masterton. The death occurred at Pahiatua yesterday of Mrs Rose Heckler, 1 wife of Mr Edward Sidney Heckler, of “Lime Hills,” Pahiatua, at the age of 58 years. At St Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Pahiatua, recently, Miss Joan Rona Yewen, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs W. E. Yewen, Tui Street, Pahiatua, was married to Mr James Hutchinson, youngest son of the late Mr and Mrs Hutchinson, of Blenheim. The Rev D. McNeur, of Masterton, performed the ceremony. Misses Joan Sowry and Lola Yewen were bridesmaids, Mr A. Watt, best man, and Mr M. Smith, groomsman.
