LATE PRICES MAINTAINED. The second Masterton cattle fair, which was held at the saleyards this afternoon, comprising 2,500 station cattle, attracted a large attendance of buyers from all parts of the Wairarapa. Bidding was brisk and competition keen for the many good lots forward. Prices realised up to the time of going to press were well up to those at the first sale. The demand for 2-year-old stock was very keen. The Associated Auctioneers quote as follow: Bullocks, £lO 13s; 3-year steers, £7 Is. £7 19s to £8 10s: 2-year steers. £6 15s to £7. A line of 2-year steers on account of G. and J. Moore realised £9 5s and £9 17s.
