, PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION MEETING. GALA DAY & SPORTS. At a committee meeting of the Wairarapa College Parents’ Association held during the week it was decided to hold the annual College Gala Day on Saturday. February 22. It was also announced that the College Sports would be held on Thursday, November 7. The president. Mr A. Owen Jones, stated that the Principal, Mr G. G. Hancox would be going into camp next week Jix months and on behalf of the Parents’ Association he wished him the best of health and good wishes. Mr Hancox, said Mr Jones, had accepted a position in camp at great sacrifice to himself personally and also to the College and he hoped that it would not be necessary for him to be away any longer than the stated period.
