KOHL RABI
SUBSTITUTE FOR TURNIPS. Kohl Rabi is a useful substitute for turnips, and is sown in nursery rows, and when seedlings are a month to six weeks old they are transplanted into rows 14in between the rows and 12in between the plants in the rows. The swollen part of the stems should be eaten before they are fully grown.
