SALE AT DUNEDIN. VALUES FIRM AT LATE RATES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, October 8. The total offering at today’s rabbitskin auction was approximately 20 tons. There was an excellent demand for all descriptions, the bulk of the catalogues comprising summers, springs, outgoings and milkies. Values were firm at late rates and all catalogues were cleared under the hammei. Exporters were well in the market and took a fair share of the offering. Furriers also purchased lots suitable foi their trade. Small parcels of winters forward met keen competition, first bucks selling to 108 d, second bucks to 104 d„ first does to 91d„ second does to 88Jd„ spotted bucks to 89d., and spotted does to 75£d. Indications point to fair prices for the summer period and at the rates now ruling trapping should be a payable proposition. Official range of prices: Small, 18d to 18Jd., per ib.; runners, 29Jd. to 291 d. racks, 34d. to 36|d. to 89d; spotted winter does, 70d. to 75J.d; second winter bucks, 103 d. to 104 d.; second winter does. 81d. to 88Jd.; first winter bucks, 105 d. to 108 d.; first winter does, 89Jd. to 91d.; outgoing winter bucks, 7 °d. to 79Jd.; outgoing winter does, 60d. to 66a; furrier does, 74d. to 77d; spring bucks, 57d. to 63d.; spring does, 45|d. to 47|d.; stained does, 49d. to 58-Jd.; first milky, 35id. to 41d.; summer broken, 31d to 33jd.; autumn broken, 34Jd. to 37d.; winter broken, SSJd. to 41 “d., summer fawns, to 30d.; autumn fawns, to 40d.; first winter fawns, 50d. to 60d.; summer black, 24-jd. to 25Jd.; autumn black, 24Jd. to 25Jd.; autumn black, 38Jd. to 46d.; first winter black, 57d. to 77d.; first hareskins, 36d. to 37d.; hareskins, 26d. to 27d.; first ferrets, 9s 9d to Ils.; second ferrets, 3s. 6d. to Bs. 6d.
