$ ACCIDENT IN MASTERTON. VICTIM IN CRITICAL CONDITION. Alexander Newman, aged 49, of Cockburn Street, Masterton, was admitted to the Masterton Hospital this morning, and was later reported to be in a critical condition, suffering from injuries received when he fell off a scaffolding around a new bakehouse being erected for Champion Bakeries Ltd., in Queen Street. The injured man was taken to hospital by ambulance after receiving attention.
