ESPERANTO

MASTERTON CLUB MEETING. The weekly meeting of the Masterton Esperanto Club was held last evening, Mrs A. G. Wiltshire presiding over a good attendance of members. The secretary, Mr W. H. King, reminded members that the annual general meeting will be held on Octobei 14, following which the club will go into recess until next year. Practically the whole of the evening was devoted to the encouragement and practice of conversation in Esperanto in which all members participated and displayed a good working knowledge of the international language. During the final session of the meeting. Mr E. J. Esler presented a most interesting original article entitled “L: Beleco de Nacia Parko" (The Beautj of National Park); and Mr King answered a number of general questions put to him in Esperanto.
