“IT’S A FAIR COP”
FOURTH PRISON ESCAPEE RECAPTURED NEAR AUCKLAND SEASIDE RESORT. WELL-EQUIPPED CAMP FOUND CLOSE BY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. The fourth prison escapee, David Fraser Watson, was caught at six o’clock this mbrhing, by' a police party under Superintendent Cummings, in the bush about a hundred yards from Karekare, a West Coast seaside resort. When called upon, Watson said: “It’s a fair cop,” and submitted quietly. The police also found a well-equipped camp nearby.
