Mrs A. Mason. of Masterton, has been on a visit to Hastings. Mrs F. Roberts. Bunny Street, Masterton, is visiting Auckland. Miss Judith lorns, of Martinborough, has been on a visit to Hastings. Mrs Smith, of Gisborne, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs Arthur Steele, Pownall Street. Masterton, returned to her home yesterday. Mrs Wilton. West Bush Road, Masterton, entertained a large number of friends recently on the occasion of the' 21st birthday of her son, Mr Ashbridge Southby Wilton. Mrs Martha Baylis has died at Palmerston North, aged 92. Her husband. Mr AV. J. Baylis, predeceased her 24 years ago. Mr and Mrs Baylis arrived in Wellington 64 years ago. Fourteen years ago Mrs Baylis went to Palmerston North.
