4, COMPANY RETURNS. Mossy Creek dredge reports a return of £4 ounces from 8280 cubic yards worked in 105 hours. The Barry town group of gold dredges (West Coast) report an aggregate recovery of 2315 ounces for September, as follows. —Kanieri: 982 ounces from 248.000 yards in 462 hours. Arahura 822 ounces from 314,000 yards in 535 hours. Barrytown: 511 ounces from 170,000 yards in 436 hours. The following information has been cabled to the London office of the Martha Gold Mining Company (Waihi) Limited: For the period ended September 21, 16,231 tons of ore were crushed for 3533 ounces of gold and 27,147 ounces of silver. The crushing time was 20 days.
