CHURCH SERVICES

> A centenary thanksgiving service will be held in the Lansdowne Presbyterian Church tomorrow, at 11 a.m. The final offering for the thanksgiving fund will be received. Of the £300,000 that was aimed at, less than £65,000 remains to be found. At St. Matthew’s Church. Masterton, tomorrow, the Holy Communion will be celebrated at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. Archdeacon Rich will be the preacher both in the morning and evening. The Rev. V. W. Joblin will conduct the evening service at Kuripuni, and Archdeacon Rich the afternoon service at Taueru. The preacher at Knox Church tomorrow will be Mr Ivan Muir, who will also conduct the services at Matahiwi. Services will also be held at Te Whiti and Westmere. At the Masterton Methodist Church tomorrow the morning service will be conducted by Rev. H. S. Kings. The subject will be "Victorious Living. The Rev. J. Ainsley Daglish, of Carterton, will conduct the evening service. Mr C. R. Goudge will be the preacher at Kuripuni. A service will be held at Wangaehu at 2.30 p.m. The service of the Baptist Fellowship tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. M. J. Eade. of the N.Z. Baptist Missionary Society, who recently arrived from North Tipperah. East Bengal, India, on furlough. Mr Eade is accompanied by his wile. All interested in missionary work are cordially invited to the service. On Tuesday evening a service will be conducted by the Rev. E. Batts, of Lower Hutt.
