MADE BY ROYAL AIR FORCE On Enemy Bases on Coast of Holland SUPPLY SHIPS SUNK IN NORWEGIAN WATERS . TWO NAZI MACHINES BROUGHT DOWN IN LONDON Yesterday the R.A.F. made various attacks in daylight on the enemy-occupied coast of Holland, the 8.8. C, reports. The flying weather yesterday was bad but under cover provided by low clouds, a series of raids was made along the coast. Attacks were also made on twelve enemy merchant ships and a supply ship, on a centration of 50 barges in a river and on large iron works in Western Germany. An Admiralty communique reports further damage by the bombing of enemy ships off the coast of Norway by the Fleet Air Arm. A supply ship of between 4000 and 5000 tons was hit with bombs and left heavily on fire in both the forward , and aft holds. Another supply ship of 2000 tons was heavily bombed and is considered to have been sunk. The British aircraft were subsequently attacked by superior forces of enemy planes and one is missing. Attacks on London by single raiders yesterday completely failed once more, Bombs were dropped at random from the clouds at various ports of London and in other parts of the country.
