OBITUARY
MR JOHN LEAHY. The death occurred in Masterton yesterday of Mr John Phillip Leahy, aged 49 years. The late Mr Leahy was born in Australia and it is understood that he had no relatives in New Zealand. He had resided in the district for a a long period of years. Mr Leahy was a member of the Wellington Regiment in the last war. The funeral will take place in Masterton on Monday, leaving St. Patrick’s Church, following the celebration of Mass at 9 a.m., for the Masterton Cemetery.
