U.S.A. ASSOCIATION’S PLANS, NO VISIT TO AUSTRALIA DURING WAR. <By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) NEW YORK, October 1. The United States Lawn Tennis Association President, Mr Holcombe Ward, said the Association appreciates the Australian decision not to urge the Uiyted States to send players to Australia during the war. The only visits abroad contemplated are to South America this autumn and possibly to Mexico later.
