Denbee, Renall Street, Masterton, are spending a fortnight in Napier. Mrs McCracken, Villa Street, Masterton, who has been staying with Mrs E. Foreman, Gladstone, has returned home. Miss M. Fraser, Glasgow, Scotland, who has been the. guest orf Mrs L. B. Maunsell, Lansdowne, for a few days, left for Wellington today. The death occurred in Napier' yesterday of Lady Florence Kate McLean, widow of Sir Robert Donald Douglas McLean, who was a son of Sir Donald McLean, a Hawke’s Bay pioneer. The death occurred in Wellington on Monday of Mrs Marion Howard, aged 93. She was the widow of the late Mr J. Howard, a well-known broker and land-agent in Wellington many years ago. A sister, Miss Sarah Buckland, who lived next door to her in Wellington, died in January, aged 9G.
